SALT STORAGE TANKS

Salt is stored before, during and after the operations. Storage systems are determined by the location of the product. Raw salt bunkers are used to store raw salt, feed tanks are used to feed product to the machine, and silos are used to store final product.

We design and install our storage systems according to the Salt Washing Line's capacity and facility plan. Salt is an abrasive material, so we produce all storage systems with stainless steel. Our storage systems are long-lasting, easy-care, and efficient storage systems.

TYPES OF OUR SALT STORAGE TANKS

We have 3 types of storage tanks to be feed tank, raw salt bunker, and salt silo. Our storage tank types and features are described below:

RAW SALT BUNKER

Raw salt is carried in raw salt bunker before it is moved to salt washing plant. The raw salt bunker has a narrow, conical shape with a large upper side and a lower side. Raw salt is driven from lower side by vibration motor. Thanks to the vibration movement provided by these motors, the salt is continuously poured from the raw salt bunker onto the conveyor band.

FEED TANK

Salt should be sent to machinery continuously and at same speed during washing and other operations. Therefore, feed tanks are used on every machine required. Feed tanks make it easy to transport, and they are taking up little space.

SALT SILOS

Salt is stored after processing. During this storage, specially designed silos are used in order to prevent salt from being affected and not humid. Salt silos sweep salt from the bottom floor and drain it easily.
